Assalamu Alaikum everyone!
I hope you are all doing well. I am doing fine, Alhamdulillah.
Today, I want to share a little story about my visit to my aunt’s house, situated in a beautiful village in Bangladesh. 🇧🇩
There is a saying that the villages of Bangladesh look like beautiful paintings. And honestly, my aunt’s village is no exception. Surrounded by greenery, ponds, flowers, and peaceful village roads, the place felt like a picture-perfect countryside escape.
Let me take you along through some of the moments I captured during my visit.

One of the most beautiful things about village mornings during this season is the fog. After sunrise, a soft layer of mist covers the surroundings, creating a dreamy and peaceful atmosphere.
Everything looks different in the early morning—quieter, softer, and somehow more beautiful.

My aunt’s family has their own ponds where they cultivate fish. There is something special about eating fresh fish from a village pond—it simply tastes different.
Besides providing fresh food, the pond also adds so much beauty to the surroundings. The peaceful water and the natural landscape made it one of my favourite views during the visit.

There was another pond beside the village road, filled with beautiful water lilies.
In the morning, the flowers opened beautifully across the water, creating a lovely scene. I couldn’t resist stopping to admire them and capture the moment through my camera.
Nature has a way of making even an ordinary village road feel magical.

My aunts also raise ducks, chickens, and turkeys at home.
During my stay, I came across a particularly large turkey. It was quite a sight! Since I love turkey, my aunt was planning to prepare it for everyone, which made the visit even more memorable.
These little experiences are part of what makes staying in a village so special—there is always something happening around you.

One morning, I woke up early and went for a long walk along the village road.
The entire area was covered in fog, and I was completely fascinated by the atmosphere. I wanted to enjoy the moment as much as possible, so I started taking photographs of everything around me.
Photography is one of the ways I hold on to these little moments.

While exploring the village, I also noticed that my aunts grow many of their own vegetables. I really loved seeing this simple, self-sufficient way of village life.

My aunts also have several flowering plants around their home.
The flowers added even more beauty to the house and made the entire surroundings feel colourful and alive.
I especially loved seeing the radish flowers and mustard flowers blooming around the village.
The bright flowers against the greenery were a beautiful reminder of how much beauty can be found in the simplest places.

The afternoon was calm and quiet. The sun was still bright, but the surroundings were peaceful. I walked around the house and looked at the trees, plants, ponds, and the open sky.

There were many birds around the house. Some were sitting quietly on the branches, while others were flying from one tree to another. I spent some time watching them and, of course, took a few photographs.
Later in the evening, I went outside to enjoy the sunset.
The sky slowly changed its colour as the sun began to go down. The warm evening light fell over the trees and the village, making everything look beautiful.
I couldn’t miss the opportunity to capture the sunset with my camera.

A Little Piece of Village Life 💚
My visit to my aunt’s house was not just a trip to the village. It was an opportunity to slow down, breathe fresh air, walk through the fog, enjoy nature, and appreciate the simple pleasures of rural life.

Sometimes, happiness is found in the quietest places—a foggy morning, a pond filled with flowers, a village road, fresh vegetables, or simply spending time with family.

These are the moments I love to capture through my lens and keep as memories.
Until my next story, keep enjoying the beauty of nature. 🌿
